We offer multi-week classes to students ranging from beginners to advanced artists.

Susan Card, the artist-owner of DISH GALLERY + Studio, has mentored many aspiring ceramic artists. Susan teaches wheel-throwing, hand building, decorating and glazing to students at two convenient locations - DISH GALLERY + Studio in the Distillery District and at the Toronto Potters Studio, Artscape Youngplace in the Queen West neighbourhood at 180 Shaw Street - studio 107.

Wednesday afternoon Pottery Hand Building at DISH GALLERY + Studio

15 Case Goods Lane, Toronto Distillery District 1:00-4:00 pm

Be prepared to get dusty at our 8 week pottery hand building class. This is a great introduction to working with clay in a cozy nurturing studio in the vibrant Distillery District. Projects include plates, cups, vases, mugs with handles, bowls, and more.

Wednesday Pottery Wheel Classes at Toronto Potters Studio

180 Shaw St. , Toronto 7:00 - 10:00 pm

Join our 8 week pottery wheel - throwing class where our students learn the whole process to turn wet clay into properly finished and completely glazed pieces that are microwave and dishwasher safe. The focus is on wheel throwing functional pottery for beginners to more advanced students.

No experience is necessary for classes. Small class sizes ensure individual attention for beginners to the more advanced students. Bring a small towel, notebook and wear washable clothes.
